Cruise To Success With Leads Club International!
We’ll be mixing business with pleasure on this 3-day weekend escape to Ensenada, Mexico, the most popular seaport on the Baja peninsula. During your day-long visit, you can marvel at local attractions, enjoy a frosty margarita at a lively cantina, or just relax in the sun on the golden beaches. Some of the attractions to choose from include the local geyser, La Bufadora; Bajamar Golf Resort; Baja Bandidos Horseback Trail; and the incredible bargains in the duty-free shops along Avenida Primera.
While at sea the next day, spend some time in our organized workshops listening and learning from fellow Leads Club members who are marketing and networking their way to success! Talk to your tax advisor about how to get the most tax benefits for your business by your attendance.
You can’t afford not to join us for this educational and motivational weekend!

Cruising 101
Leads Club turns 30 this year. To celebrate our anniversary we are going on a Caribbean Cruise.
For those of you who have never been on a cruise or it’s been awhile, here are a couple of tips for you to consider when planning for a cruise.
- A cruise can be the perfect vacation. You can be as busy as you wish or do nothing at all.
- You only pack and unpack once and most of the luggage handling is done for you.
- Meals and snacks are available 24/7 and most are casual.
- Activities are varied and plentiful. There are pools, workout facilities, a Spa, Casino, Library, Internet Café, structured activities for children, ping pong, special interest groups meeting and much more. When not in workshops, you can find me relaxing/networking on the “Serenity Deck (Adults only).

How To Work A Mixer
How do you work a mixer? When attending a business mixer or networking event, there are a few "must dos" to make the event successful for your business.
Set a goal for the event
What do you want to gain from attending this event? Is it to meet a certain type of business professional? Do you have an event you are promoting? Are you looking for a strategic partner?
Business Cards
It seems silly to remind you that having business cards at a networking event are very important. I was at an event last week and asked for a card only to be told the business owner didn’t have any cards. You might want to consider keeping an extra supply of your cards in your car.
Small Pen
This is for making notes on the back of the business card you just received. You might note commonalities you share, a word or two about your conversation…something you can use to reference their business when you send out your hand written note.
Two Business Card Carriers
One for your cards and one for the cards you collect. Try to keep your cards in your left pocket, so when you introduce yourself you can easily pull your card out with your left hand while shaking with your right hand.
Name Badge
All business owners should invest in a name badge for their business. They are easy enough to find and are very helpful for networking. Also, make sure to wear your name tag on your right side. That way when you shake hands with another business owner, their eyes will be looking directly at your name tag.
What tips do you have for working a networking event? Please feel free to share by commenting on this post, and check our Leads Club Mixer page for a mixer near you.
